If you'll switch from HTTP to HTTPS in 2018, there will be a significant drop. Happened with my friend too. The problem is AdSense crawler. It needs a couple of days to crawl the entire site again and could take up to one week for ads to show up everywhere.

That's why it was more wise to start switching to HTTPS a couple of years ago, when it became the trend, and obvious that, at some point, this would be something (nearly) mandatory.

Switching to HTTPS won't be the first issue, Adsense is really unpredictable for the last 2 months - if not for everyone, definitely for me. :)

Yep. It's unpredictable and unstable.

Obeying Google for the last 10 years has gone from win-win to win-lose.

In the past, my best performing ad (on desktop) was a 300 x 600 on side bar. It was so successful, that I simply removed all other ads on the page, to keep this one above the fold. (never understood why above the fold ads are performing better, whereas most of my visitor are reading and scrolling to the bottom the page).

Then , this format started to decline, I don't know why. (still talking about desktop only, of course).

Do you also observe that 300x250 ads are performing better than 300x600. May be with mobile development, advertisers are focusing more on creatives for 300x250 ads and abandoned vertical banners ?

Dimitri, with responsive design becoming the standard in the past years, I imagine publishers and advertisers have been opting for 300x250 as it is easier to deal with on all sizes.

I’m seeing a ton of rich media ads today with a low amount of text ads, anyone else seeing this?

For me, July is a nightmare, really!
CPM is so low now, that is -30% the normal revenue.

July is always a write-off for me anyway, due to an 80% plunge in traffic. But I'm still staggered by how low CTR has fallen this month. It's under 0.5% today but has been as low as 0.3%. If this continues when my traffic returns next month it will be a disaster.

Sometimes I'm wondering what people behind Adsense are thinking. I've settings for my text ads: dark blue background and white text.

Now I'm seeing: light yellow backgrounds with white text... lol!

I can't read the white texts so my visitors won't see it too.

How is it okay for Google to experiment with our ad units without our permission? When the experiment feature is turned off, the settings should be respected.

In other news, Google will be fined today xD :D The AdSense case is still pending tho.

Guys one of my sites appears to not be displaying ads anymore. Im showing zero clicks in adsense as well. If I refreshing the page ads show up. Other sites are showing ads just fine. Am I about to be banned?

I am seeing sporadic ads also. Some pages fine other with blank ads or only one ad.

Yeah same here. Sometimes ads show, sometimes they dont. Or one will show and the others wont. But the weird part is Im getting the same amount of traffic but not a single click. Worried Im going to get banned here. Conceitedly this happened right when I switched one of my other sites to ezoic.

@breeks, @sillysoft This morning I'm seeing the lowest coverage stats in months, so it appears that I'm being impacted as well. Mind you it is early in the day and coverage may pick-up and finish in a normal range.

Zero clicks for me too however this seems to now be my AdSense norm.

The ads I am seeing, I have re-enabled personalised ads, seem to be ok.

My coverage seems unaffected, in fact, yesterday was slightly higher coverage than usual. It's just that nobody is clicking - and when they do, the CPC is also miserable. RPM so far today is appallingly low.

I am seeing coverage down about 10% today, all countries (not just Europe related), several different sites.

I also see little-to-no ads appearing on one of my sites today. In the browser console I see warnings like this: "Cross-Origin Read Blocking (CORB) blocked cross-origin response [google ad url here] with MIME type text/html." I'm also seeing HTTP/2.0 204 No Content headers on some of the ad URLs. My CPC today is terrible.

After 12 and only 3 clicks so far today on my 1 site. Wow, dont know what the heck is going on. Over a thousand impressions and page views, but 3 clicks. Yet Adsense support tells me there is nothing wrong with the site. No violations, no banning, ads are loading just fine. Every other site appears to be working just fine...
