It's amazing how one day can be so different from the other. Yesterday I the previous were excellent, today has hardly got off the ground. I'm still getting plenty of clicks on the responsive link unit below my menu, however, today is not paying as much as it was yesterday.

Are organic results a thing of the past?

@glitterball In my niche, the tops spots are all food manufacturing conglomerates and large magazines. The small guys have been pushed to the third page in most cases. You can do a search for a particular phrase, and Google will give you everything except what you were aiming for.

So Amazon is showing ads for soft p o r n novels on my sites. Lovely. No, my sites have nothing to do with p o r n (and I don't visit such sites so they aren't personalized ads).

Earnings are 50% of yesterday's. Occasionally getting blank ad spaces and my backup ads. I did block the pest control place.

I thought all is back to normal, but not really. Even though CPC is back to normal, CTR is greatly reduced. So I think the problem is not solved yet.

Yep. Not fixed yet. Today (11th) looks pathetic so far.

I got reply from support where they mention that everything fixed now.

No problems here since a couple of days. Surprisingly my CTR is almost tripled in the last 3/4 weeks. Maybe because I've excluded several niches of advertisements. I looked at how much impressions they gave and how much earnings. If % of impressions are much more than % of earnings I mostly block them. Seems to work well so far.

Never used blocking ads feature, so will wait some more days to see if everything goes back to normal.

Canada CPC is 0.07 here from 0.54. AdSense must be kidding, today is again pathetic :(

Speaking of which can someone tell me the logic behind Adsense allowing "AdRemover" ads -- "remove ads in 2 clicks" -- other than a desperation for advertisers with big budgets?

Things are looking pretty decent for us today so far and yesterday (the 10th) was a good day.

Just because Adsense allows it doesn't mean I need to. Can you share the domain so that we can preemptively block it.

Very low clicks and stats seem stuck today for me

After blocking download ads, adsense earnings increased from .04$ epc to .05$ epc. CTR has also gone up. Days are gone when one could see one single relevant ad.

Bought an Iphone and now wherever I go, I see only Iphone ads from amazon. Too much following and little tracking on whether purchased or not from amazon side.

Can someone tell me how we can check CPC/RPM of one specific ad? I am seeing all of my ad slots filled with PATANJALI ad again. This disappeared two days ago when the earnings recovered, it is back again and earning is down too!

Talking about targeting failures... Just been shown an ad for the Vietnamese branch of a global food company on Youtube. In Vietnamese for me, in a former Soviet bloc country. I have absolutely no browsing or whatsoever history related to the above country... Go figure.

Seeing arabic ads in central Europe. I have never seen Ad Coverage below 80% as well, something wrong here....

My balance/finalised earnings increased by around £3.50 this evening. This isn't the first time this has happened, however, this is the most itself over increased after receiving my finalised earnings a couple of days into the new month.

@nubchai The impression score is shown in that HTML code. Why are they using HTML code in the Ad Review section? I don't understand it.

I think it's part of the whole "Adsense still has a glitch and it's not fixed yet even though they said it was" thing.

I hadn't seen this. So Google is starting to review sites to see how they'll fare in the new Chrome browser. 100,000 sites reviewed so far. 700 need "corrective action." Some big names included, like Forbes, CBS, etc. Pop up ads are the worst offenders.

I would say no it doesn't make sense. The fact that an ad only shows up once on your site should have no correlation to its quality or potential to pay out. In fact if an advertiser messes up and sets a very high bid, then chances are you will only see that ad once. More generally interest based and remarketing ads should only have low impression scores as any one ad should appear infrequently.

Your biggest concern should be high impression score ads, when spam ads show up as "High" it means that they me be doing serious damage to your reputation and pocket book.
