Starting to think Wordpress isn’t accurately counting my clicks from Facebook.

Under .10 CPC today, $1.73 RPM this absolutely pathetic. I even have a 3% CTR lol.

Over $10 RPM this morning

My CPMs are definitely going up every day. Whether thats because of the advertisers or google starting to make their changes, who knows, but their claim that most publishers won’t notice a change in earnings seems a bit optimistic.

I suppose advertisers might be holding off spending money in anticipation of the changes. I dont imagine they’d prefer impressions over clicks, unless the impressions were a lot cheaper

The difference will be the same as Buffet or a la carte

What I’m noticing is that Adsense isn’t letting the good numbers last. Usually when I reach a higher RPM, it was at least stabilize until the night. Ever since the RPM went up, the clicks went down! Lack of clicks = a decrease in RPM. So my RPM is taking a trip down sadly.

I think you are correct and I mentioned the same thing earlier. I wonder if they are doing their best to try to distribute income evenly.

More than 7 days in row RPM is $5 or lower, CPC $13 - $15...
I do not see any changes at all.

I just woke up and this is the first time in 10 days that I see a CPC of $0.17. RPM is still $5.00.
What was a bad day last year when the CPC was $0.17, now looks good (:
I hope that things will improve and that this is just a momentary stinginess of advertisers.

Very low start this week or are stats frozen

On January 10 my Page RPM jumped up about 90% compared to the days before. After that it has been gradually coming down again. :(
The jump was caused by CPC, not by CTR.
My site is in the travel industry and most traffic is from the UK
Also I make about 200,000 Ad impressions a day and did not do anything special that day.
Anybody ever experienced something like this?

I mean Page-RPM and CPC is always fluctuating. But this huge jump made me think: Obviously there is the potential to get more way more expensive ads on my site. How can I influence that?

Everyone seems to be dealing with consistency problems when it comes to Adsense. I hope they find a way to make income consistent again because it looks like they’re toying with the system too much this year.

And we’re only 15 days in.

I find it so weird how when my RPM is higher, my Facebook traffic is down but when my RPM is low, my Facebook traffic is up lol.

Not seeing much change in my CPM yet, still heavily CPC driven in mid-January.

same here, some days it looks like it but for the most part it is still the same.

Yeah CPM reached around 30% at the most.

Wonder if google even knows at this point when the CPC to CPM change will come into full effect, "early in 2024" is very broad.

Would by April still be considered early in the year?
