April earning were down from March but inline with the rest of the year. So no complaints. Clawback was in the order of ~1%.

Safari's latest update changed some privacy defaults. I'd look there to see why you are not seeing all ads on Safari. Check to see whether your version of Safari is 14.1 which was released April 26, 2021.

@Not2Easy, Checking my stats in Analytics I see a marginal drop in coverage for Safari 14.1 to 96% from 100%, but the number of users is still low. We will see as the time progresses.

Clawback of 0.35%. But overall earnings were lower than in March. For some reason April and May are always the worst AdSense months in my niches.

Clawback of 0.5%. Lowest I've ever had. May has started off with a bang. I hope it continues.

2% clawback with April ending up higher than March for the first time ever (15+ years with AdSense). But overall lower earnings than before the pandemic.

Just to clarify about Safari versions - for Mobile iOS users it is version 14.5, the 14.1 is for desktop OSX - there may be a different version for other platforms? This was mentioned on April 26 here: [webmasterworld.com...]

Clawback here around 10% with very low historical earnings for my website. Strange or not because my trust in Adsense is very low other ads performed well.

I'm sure when I share my website here it doesn't show strange placements but you can't get in contact with one of the biggest tech companies in te world. Just ridiculous and it's one of the reasons I'm going to sell my website for a nice amount. I'm done with a lack of transparency of several companies in this industry.

52% April clawback! First time I've had one this big! Any input is appreciated.

Clawback was non-existent for me in April!...

...until an electric car with California plates pulled into the driveway and out jumped two crooked-nose Italians demanding I pay protection money equal to 11.6%.

What could I do?

Hello,

No clawback either, it's the trend since nearly a year now.In fact, I did have one, of ... 4 cents of euro, I am so curious what it could be! May be Adsense deducted the price of the electricity I cost them, logging in.

Ouch, there is something seriously wrong with your implementation and or user profile. Is it the first time?

52% April clawback!

How was pre-clawback revenue compared to previous months?

2% clawback, more than usual, but not surprising considering the quality of the traffic google sent in April. Good thing I ve been working over the past year on creating my own "widgets" to sell, instead on focusing entirely on adsense revenue. As long as there is traffic on the sites, there is money to be made.

Huh?
I think you mean @theTitan72, he/she is the one with 52% clawback. And, I'm not sure that is necessarily true, I think it depends more on actual dollar amount more than %. 50% could be of 20$ as much as it could 50% of 20k$. The other factor is frequency, and this is a first according to the post. It definitely warrants attention.

@theTitan72, there has been a lot of discussion recently about invalid click activity. Here are a few of the recent threads:

Oh I'm sorry I tagged the wrong person, Yes you are correct @NickMNS+
It depends on the dollar amount 50% of 20$ could be acceptable but if the claw back $ is more than 300+$, Definitely under risk.

My clawback was $440.
Most i had was $1500 once.
I would say "normal" is about $160 for me.
So all in all I'd prefer it be lower but I'm glad it's not higher.

@SweetPotato

I got you beat, $540 clawback for me. :-( That’s too much money to take away with no explanation.

I agree. I can accept small discrepancies but not large sums. Specially when there's no transparency or explanation of what happened.
All we get is a "trust me". That's nowhere near effing enough.
Meanwhile G breaks records of earnings...
