44% drop in revenue. What happened to AdSense?

That's kind of vague. Is the drop due to less traffic? Has the CPC dropped? The CTR? Viewability? Number of impressions?

everything is good except, Clicks are dropped suddenly

Everything is status quo for me; a slow but steady decrease because schools are closing for the summer. June, July, and August are the slow times for my websites.

US ppl are getting ready for a 3 days weekend.
Monday is Memorial Day and the end of the month.

This week was good for me.
eCPM is back to good values, but the traffic is low after multiple serp changes last week.

It seems like Google uses a new algorithm every day and even at different times of the day. I monitor the ranking of one of my pages and its ranking fluctuates between 8 and 13. It has been doing this for a while.

To tell you the truth, I’m pretty much ignoring the Serp and traffic, as it’s completely out of our hands and I’m concentrating on content.

@Mentat has a point. Google algo changes rapidly and google got unrealistic speed expectations from bloggers.

By checking the adrevenue index and adsense earnings i think Adrevenue index can only be compared against CPM Networks

Use the eCPM metric, not cpm..
A lot of ads are now paid per cpm, not click.

Increase in organic traffic after optimizing web vitals. AdSense earning is going bad since the mid of May. Both the CPC and clicks are low. I think ads don't show up on ranking articles frequently for different locations or the ad inventory is bad.

10.5% clawback (smh).

May was a strange month, but in the end it was almost a record.
Adsense is weak, but Ad manager is strong for US visitors.

Clawback was less than 1%.
