$0.02 CPC, Clawbacks and 50% Revenue Drops

I've had days the last couple of days that had 0.02 CPC. 0.02 ! When my average the past years was .10. I mean, it's never been so low. Yet, Google was kind enough to raise to CTR so that i earnt more or less the same each day.

I've said it in the past, but i'm pretty sure Google just give you whatever money they want and adjust those numbers accordingly.

My theory now is that AdSense has been around for quite a long time and so has the Internet. In the early days of AdSense people weren't really that aware of what it was and they would readily click on the ads. However, most people now know exactly what AdSense is and they know that 9 times out of 10 they are going to get a load of rubbish when they click so they don't bother.

Well, I must come to G's defence on this, the ads on my sites are 90+% relevant to my widgets and associated industries. It's a pity that with localisation in the US SERPs my traffic has fallen dramatically this past couple of years since my actual CTR is, I reckon, well above average.

In fact this month my smartphone earnings will be higher than desktop and its average EPC is also higher.

Not doing too badly today so far. CPC is 29p, page RPM is �3.01. In fact, the CPC was around 25p earlier with around three clicks. Clicks have now risen to 5 and CPC is now at 29p

Wednesday wasn't too bad. Okay, only had 22 clicks at 25p CPC but it was better than nothing. In my heyday I was getting three times as many clicks if not more but the CPC was about the same. So if I could somehow get my clicks back I would almost be back where I was three years ago.

Looks like it might be a good day again. Still very early for me, majority of my traffic comes from the US. However, had two clicks so far but they are 46p. Obviously that figure will drop as more clicks come along but the fact that the figure is quite high should mean a fairly decent day, touch wood.

Ad coverage dropped for anyone else?

I'm actually seeing an increase today. Coverage has been remarkably consistent for the past month and a half (only a 1% difference from day to day), today I am seeing a 5% increase over that period. Of note: I had 99% coverage for the year prior to the past month and a half, when coverage dropped drastically.

Coverage use to be consistent for me too, in the 99% range. Nowadays (since March of last year), it's been running around 85% with some major dips and climbs here and there.

My coverage has dipped by 10% since last 2 days across all countries :(

Usually it lies between 95-96% for me, but now it is around 85-86%. Needless to say revenue has dropped.

Drop of coverage can be attributed to this CPC drop in last days of a month? May be advertisers have exhausted their budget and now adsense doesn't have much relevant inventory to show ads on my website. Could this be possible?

Average Adsense month. RPM was about the same as this time last year. Tried ezoic. It was a disaster. Cost me a few hundred in lost revenue.

Ezoic is annoyingly persistent with me - every week I get an email from someone there wanting me to sign up one of my sites. Of course they promise the world if I sign up.

I tried Ezoic several months ago and it's not a disaster but not the paradise like many people says... The loading time is insane ( you use the ezoic cdn and dns ) for the same income with adsense so i decide to disable it.

Adsense is still playing , now i have 30% from my regular clicks with ctr 0.06 - 0.08.

Hope will be recovered soon.
