nope. worst start ever for me. traffic still falling and that's the main reason behind worst figures.

Tried Propeller Ads which is now Monetag for a few days while still waiting for Adsense approval, and it was just horrible, thousands of impressions for just a few cents. I have also tried Monumetric, EZOIC and others in the past.

I know Adsense is not what it used to be, but neither are the other services, and Adsense is still the best by far.

ranking better than before and yet a 70% revenue loss with more traffic compared to two years ago in July. August looks even worse... crazy!

The CPM switch certainly doesn't help AND the ad biz has been struggling throughout 2024 thus far.

Cant see anything changing for the better until about April 2025 really : /

Weekend was so so, but today (Monday) starting out a little better with RPM, how is everyone doing?

Well, I spoke to soon, as of yesterday afternoon RPM started tanking and it was just a horrible day today.

Im in South Africa and my RPMs have just been dropping constantly each day... from like $2.5 to like $1 to $1.5 per page. Also note my almost entire traffice is based in South Africa which is not considered a Tier 1 earnings level country.

Usually im above $3 rpm per page... but its terrible. seems the more traffic i get the lesser i earn. Tried alot of methods to improve page rpm and ad impression earning by showing lesser ads but it doesnt help. So im showing like 6 to 8 ads on a page depending on how much info is on that page and some pages are pretty long. i tried creating smaller pages but my user base doesnt like clicking through many pages to find what they want as its educational content... so 1 to 2 pages is sufficent.

Im so deck of trying to fix and up my earnings!

Horrible last couple of days for me, it wasn't that good before, but now it's even worse.

96% down compared to Aug 2023.
Aug 2023 - all-time high earnings
Aug 2024 - worst figures in the past five years

The summer boon is finally wearing off for me : /

Down 17% from this time last year. Looks like July will end as my best month of 2024 - and even that was down YoY.

Winter is coming...

To be honest, last year was just as bad for me, so I don't blame this drop in revenue to the change from CPC to CPM.

What is funny is that Google keeps reporting record profits, so we get less and less while Google gets more and more. :-(

When you realise that even google is not really talking much about AdSense it makes you wonder why. Well, I think I get why.

Labor Day weekend in the States.

Don't even know what to expect anymore - it use to be a great earnings weekend because of the outdoors focus. But Xmas use to be great too with ad spend and people shopping online, and now it's ho-hum.
