Tried Ezoic 5 years ago and it brought 20% more traffic and income temporarily but at the cost of appearance !
Visitor would feel repelled with too many ads scattered all over and had to find content in between them.
Also, the DNS changing thing slowed down site considerably.
Maybe they get access to premium ads/advertisers who pay more for each CPC but now if adsense is migrating to CPM and fixing your rate based on recent traffic, then no point in handing over your site to ezoic.
You are not just content creator/writer, you are admin of your site
