I looks like Google is back to removing large chunks of revenue during the day. It's been fairly transparent until recently.

it has been a rough last few months for most of us, but it looks like things are starting to change slowly.

So worst here... August seems worst than July here... Ctr and RPM extremely low.. Hopefully it changes, but for now it's sad

I don't really understand, I think is because of the war, because they wrote on the top of AdSense dashboard say some ads won't show due to Ukraine war.. I guess this might also reduce some of the earnings... It's really getting worst everyday.... So sad

Probably more so that the U.S. has officially entered a recession so advertisers might be pulling back in 3Q until xmas season. Consumers are already pulling back.

I'm down 60% from last August (sigh).

Since 25thMay 2022 update, everything went downhill. It's over guys. Officially I think this recession is going to hurt until 2022 end.

Over the last two months, I've seen a 50% to 90% decrease in RPM and earnings. At the same time, the product I'm selling is also doing worse than before. I hope that last one is primarily seasonal (I'm in this selling business for the first time this year, so no idea what to expect). If this continues, I will drastically reduce the number of Adsense ads I'm showing. I'm probably better off promoting my own products instead.

Early last week things looked like they were changing for the good, but it was a horrible ending to the week, and this one is starting the same way.

RPM, CTR, CPC all still down.

Dropping like a rock here, too. Advertisers are just pulling back with all this recession talk. Christmas spending should start in another six weeks or so and help bump things up.

Same here, earnings and RPM for July/Aug are around 40% down on last year. :(

3Q is going to brutal.

Did anyone notice a big drop in CTR in the last couple of days? The impression and active view viewable are the same, but the clicks are less than half of the normal. The CPC is higher, but unfortunately, it doesn't compensate for the low CTR. I have 9 websites on one account and one website on another. The problem is with all my websites.

Saw big clawbacks happen in August

-400% starting march 2020. Several millions impressions monthly...worst behaviour. But Alphabet for the same period have +1000%, nothing strange? We all are like slaves...

I don't use adsense but do manage a site that does. Aug 17th the CTR dropped from its norm of 2.5% down to 0.1% and has remained there since. Did something change on or around Aug 17th on Google's end?

The site owner asked that I remove adsense entirely but I convinced them to try a partial removal first. Adsense was removed from all pages except those that search console calls "most important". A 20% reduction in ad views is expected... but hopefully also a bump in other metrics. The "best pages" are all what I would consider top 3 worthy for their subjects so.... time will tell. She's giving it til end of Sept.

@Sgt_Kickaxe Finally someone else with the same problem. At least I know I'm not the only one. I contacted G, first, and they said nothing was wrong with AS, that problem was the active view viewable. I sent them charts that the active view viewable has stayed the same, and after a few days now they say a specialist will check the site. I hope they found something.

2 million page views and last year earned 1000$ in July 21 and 1200$ in August 21. This year, though traffic is same but earnings are 450$ in July and this month will end with 380$. Site from India.

If the earnings pay for the site and hosting, no reason to pull Adsense from it.

Also, the site will be dropped from Adsense after a period of inactivity, forcing you to reapply it for the program. Not worth the risk if you've come this far.

Just food for thought.

Today 35000 visitors with 100k pageviews and adsense earnings only 4$. No hope left now.
