my stats for yesterday corrected themselves although adsense pageviews look lowish. interestingly, they announced outage for adsense, analytics, google ads and a couple of other services only now many hours later [ads.google.com ]

Not at all, although I thought that's should have happened. Are you seeing that?

For me, the CPC has increased by 25%-35% and it has been for days.

probably just better paying ads. euro didn't lose that much percentage-wise. my cpc is super low these days.

It's really getting worst here...

This whole year has trended lower on average for me.

Recession coming most likely. Ad spending will drop. So things could get worse before they get better.

I’m preparing for the worst.

2019 and till mid 2020 was even worse than now and then 2021 was my highest Adsense year ever (I am using adsense since 2010). But in 2019-2020 when Adsense brought only peanuts, other offers converted well for me. I still have the same setup, the same offers I had for years, but nothing converts.

Ad spend has already been in serious deceleration and decline mode since March 2022, we're nearly 4 months into the decline. It will probably continue, though seasonal patterns like EOQ and Q4 will of course be stronger than July, a historically weak month when the economy is slow (2019 for example) and certainly even slower when it seems recessionary.

Once we're in a real recovery mode though, ad spend does seem to come booming back a lot faster than many industries. Question is, how long til then?

Same here though, the month - on the whole - is "good" but still trending lower than 2021.

Google earnings confirmed the ad spending

I had a great day yesterday - about 250% higher than average recently.

After the day ended the $xxx went back to the average $xxx within 0.5%

Last week I received 'Your July earnings deductions and how to avoid them" message for the first time ever. Things were already going very bad and then this letter. I wished that they just deduced whatever they wanted without warning me a week in advance so that I din't have to worry about it. Well today I finally found out how much is the clawback -- 2 euro. Why did they send me that message and made me worry about it for a week is beyond me.

I get emails saying my revenue dropped from the month before and that I should try one of their experiments to increase it. I go to the experiments page and there are no experiments to try. Ever. I've learned to just ignore their emails. They are automated and often wrong.

I had my second best month EVER. my best month was July 2019 (pre COVID), but now just had my second best. Very happy with it.

So is anyone having issues with ads showing? I am having on and off again ads. The same issue with other sites I visit that I know have adsense.

Stat missing about -13% yesterday in revenue and impressions, google analytics not showing any drops in traffic so clear adsense issue

Seems to have cleared up today, no more missing ads.

August seems to be starting weak. Low CPC and Page RPM.

the beginning of August is even worse than the last week of July 2022, compared to last year 2021 -45%

Worst year so far. 2022 is turning bader than 2020.
