It looks like the CPC and revenue numbers are picking up. My guess is that all those businesses running text ads are now paying more for display ads...to our benefit.

This month hasn't been too bad, RPM is down from March but it is still pretty good. Let's see how the last few days go.

@Mentat, did you received a private message about Ad Manager and Adsense? I'm not sure but can't find it anymore or it's removed.

Anybody seen a reduction in CTR in the last 2 days?
It's only happened on one of my sites though - and another site that uses the exact same WordPress theme, is fine. Both are very diverse topics, so it's nothing to do with seasons or time of the year.
It sometimes happens with me, like Google randomly select sites to save themselves some money.

Lol Google not transparent about earnings? ;-) There's not much I like about Google, even ridiculous that when you've problems you can visit a public board for help and the help is from users like us.

They make billions evading taxes by being based on Ireland but can't afford 1 guy salary to give official answers on their own forums. They have the cake, eat it, have sex with it, #*$! it and eat it again.

Earnings around 50% over the last few days vs what they normally are.
One site is around 20% of it's RPM, with the other sites nearish to normal.
It's like Google have just randomly dropped earnings for 1 random website.

I (actually several of us) have a favor to ask, open to everyone, if you have Google Analytics and Adsense linked. Can you check compare the clicks in Adsense vs GA and do it for dates before November 2020, the days around November 2, 2020 and sometime in the past few days. Details to why are described in this thread: [webmasterworld.com...]
And if you could report your finding in that thread it would be best, not to have to jump back and forth.
Merci, in advance!

Before clawback, April is looking like best month of 2021 per day average for me.

For me, EVERYTHING is at an all-time low. I'm in the basement for sure.

" For me, EVERYTHING is at an all-time low. I'm in the basement for sure. "
When did it start happening? For me it was around 3 days ago, yet is only on one website. It's the CTR which has dropped, resulting in my RPM dropping by 50%.

Over here, April will surpass March for the first time ever in earnings. It could be because I finally cleaned up my own IVT issues mid March or it has something to do with wonky ad spending due to COVID.

@gatormark ty sir, however overall still down a bit since the pandemic started. Although it's not so much advertising spend, but rather people at home than at work and school; I need to bored employees and students.

bhw1066 It began about five days ago.
Primarily seems to be just 1 of my websites (I have around 6 with Adsense on), which is strange, because that site uses the exact same template as another 2 of my sites, and all 3 have random topics - so not seasonable and not specific.
Which suggests to me, Google is either doing a random selection of lowering the income to save themselves money, or it's a random manual inspection. Nothing else such as click fraud seems obvious.

gatormark, that's sad. I remember the months upon end when my clawback was 30%. I did everything I could possibly to do remedy it, and absolutely nothing helped. Then, all of a sudden, it dropped to below 2%.

I’ve just checked and April is approx 0.4% clawback this month.

@azlinda
Mine dropped down to 1-2% for a couple of months and then went back up. I haven't done anything differently. Historically it's been in the 7-8% range.

Clawback was very low but April was one of the worst months in years for me.
