After endless months of 30% clawbacks, it was only a little under 2% for December.

A very pleasant surprise this morning
Here too. I got to keep my AdSense Christmas gift (10x earnings on X-mas day, see my post above). I was already headed for a record breaking month without that day, but with it I broke my previous record by 30%. 2020 has been my best year since I started in 2013.

^^ Very pleasant surprise indeed. Finally got under 5% the last month or so, but December's clawback was only 1.3%. Definitely looks like G updated their real time filters since mid-November based on what I'm seeing in my statistics.
Huge 20-30% clawbacks started Sept-Oct 2019 and was a pain ever since. From my end, what a huge source of anxiety finally lifted (hopeful this won't be an issue again going forward).

Overall good month. clawback 4%, a little disappointment. January has a bad start.

19-20% clawback. Same as the previous month. And this despite the use of the CF block bot option. This time I am less resentful as the amount has been reduced from five numbers to four. Extremely good month of December.

capulkit ~ That's a lot better than what the clawback could have been.
dolcevita ~ I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping that very small clawbacks were beginning for everyone.

0.80% clawback for December, the lowest for me! It was 1% in November.

2.3% clawback. Same as last month. This is low for me.

If you are still getting high clawbacks, it might be useful to use Google Analytics+AdSense integration to get more details on where your earnings are coming from. I spotted a few instances of really high CTR from very specific user data given to be by Google Analytics. From there, I reported the findings using the invalid activity report form for AdSense. I can't say for certain how much of a factor that has made in my case, but I like to believe it was significant :).

0.85% clawback.
Lowest I've had for a long while. Blocked a fair few more data centers in last few months.

0.01% clawback. I seem to have a reporting discrepancies. The report for the entire month of December showing more than the amount reported in Payments before any clowbacks.

Insignificant clowback, excelent December until 24th, after that was 50%.
January is for the moment dead. I dont remember a year to be so much difference between December and January. I’m at 30% !

January is starting off very low in revenue as usual, but still 23.5% higher than January of last year. I’ll take it.

thanks ronron for the suggestion, but I don't understand how you could find a spec. user with high CTR when IP addresses are not displayed in Analytics? Maybe you can give me a bit more details here. By my website the traffic is quite large. Only CF blocks in 24h 72.79k requests and challenge 18.49k in different IP ranges.
btw Huge clawback started since May/June 2020. Im publisher since 2004 and clawback was never higher than 3%.

@dolcevita Also a publisher from around the same time as you and never had large clawbacks until Sept-Oct 2019.
What I did was use the form at ( [support.google.com...] ) to enter all pertinent user information that was deemed suspicious based on abnormally high CTR. For example, I sorted earnings based on "user bucket" and found user bucket 80 had abnormally high CTR. From there, I looked up as much user info (screen res, city, mobile/pc, browser, OS, what pages they were on, times, etc) for that particular bucket number and entered it into the invalid clicks contact form.

You will not find an IP address with Analytics alone, but you can find the specific session and then use that information to find the IP in your raw server logs. You should link your Analytics and AdSense accounts together if you haven't done so yet. Then you can use "Publisher Pages" in the "behavior" tab to analyze Adsense activity on your site. You can easily sort by country, page, browser, basically by whatever is available to you in Analytics. Once you have found the questionable session, record the time-stamps and then find the associated entry in your server log. Thus providing the IP and User-Agent and in turn providing you the means to block the user/bot.

Hello,
0% clawback, finalized earning == estimated earning, +75% compared to December 2019. No surprise, the good trend continues (since last summer).
I was planning on releasing new versions of my sites, but now, I am worried to break this good trend ...

JorgeV, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
After a large drop a few days ago, my sites have come roaring back. Almost like the early days. Ezoic is also predicting that 2021 might be the best year publishers have seen in years.

The only thing that scares me about 2021 is COVID. I think it's about to EXPLODE...much worse than in 2020. Having said that, I'm already up 28% over January of last year.
