It's December already but it still feels like March, thanks C**** ;)
Incredible month - 1% clawback! and November is now officially the best month of my AdSense journey

November good was here too, but wasn't the best, but it was close. February was better but it's hard to compete with half the traffic. 3% clawback a bit steeper than usual also didn't help. Let's hope it lasts through December.

Wait, can this be true? Only a 2% clawback for November. I've never had a clawback that low as long as I can remember. Nice! This low clawback, combined with a great November (best month since Dec 2018), is a nice way to end 2020. Let's go December!

Invalid Traffic - AdSense for Content - €0.01
Hey! WTF :)
If Adsense removes 1 cents per account, it might still be some good money :)

My clawback was low by my standards at 3.5%. It was double that the last few months and for this month last year, in the 20-30% range.
Someone mentioned CloudFlare javascript detections that may be helping; I have that enabled as well (turned on about a week before I noticed cleaner stats with normal CTR) and I'm wondering if that was the difference in the clawback improvement. Although, many others here have reported lower clawbacks to their amazement, so I'm leaning towards Goog improving their invalid activity detections in real time (assuming not everyone here is on CF and using Javascript detections).
Either way, this month is a major relief as it appears me (and many others here!) are trending in the right direction after dealing with these clawbacks for so long.

I still don't know how and why I was getting 8% clawback two months ago. The clawback problem started after the virus, but it seems to have settled down. I have taken zero steps to reduce clawback, so it could be Google's fault and they're now trying to improve it?

@ronron
Without a doubt Google has refined their real-time invalid click detection.

November 13% down vs. last year, but clawback was low at 0.6% and off to a good start in December with the best day of the year so far. Traditionally it's also the best month of the year, so here's hoping it won't be much less than -13%. Impressions are up by about 20% all year, but the RPM won't play nice.

November - just under 1% clawback. Earnings +170% over November 2019. Very happy!

Congrats @nomis5. I do also see 3 digits growth since a couple of months!

Looks like invalid click activity will be detailed a bit more for us going forward (which is GREAT!). Some peeps I know got an email about a beta program with preliminary details about it.

Still seeing 3 digits growth compared to last year. Happy, but I am too experienced to know, that the bubble will blow out at some point.

EPC is four times what it was during the summer. A lot of it has to do with the Christmas season, but it feels as though advertisers are now spending everything they stopped spending when the pandemic started. I expect the usual large drop in January, but this is nice for now.

Yes, we'll just ride the wave until the typical post-Christmas drop.

Cool, keep it up.
My numbers are good still too, but nowhere near my peak traffic years of 2015-17. My market has been flooded with new players since then, so my traffic is not the same. Still, I have been doing pretty darn good the last couple months. I’ve even added some other non-advertising revenue streams.

Hello,
AdSense is doing great for me as well... but it looks like bad days are ahead for me :(
We've decided to retire link ads. This is in order to modernize our available ad formats, based on the feedback from users, publishers and advertisers. Going forward, we’ll be focussing on improving and developing other ad formats to help you grow.
From 10-03-2021
Link ads work very well in my niche. I use one unit on desktop and it works great. Not sure if the responsive display ads are going to work for me or not.

Is it March or October 2021?

I think it's March and this news has left me really upset. Link ads work best for my site.

They said they are retiring link units in October 2021. Responsive link units will instead show display ads at that time, 'fixed' link units will 'collapse' or show a 'blank ad'.
Link units make up 90+% of my revenue, so unless the new display units suddenly work MUCH better than existing display units, Google will make MUCH less from my site (and of course, I'll lose 90+% of my Google Adsense revenue).
10 months to shift to an alternative solution of some sort. The countdown has begun.

Haven't use this site in a long time. Anyone noticed anything weird in their earnings from July to today?
I haven't checked or worked on a website for years and noticed that earnings are up 4x. From 1xxx to 4xxx. All started happening sense july.

Wow, Adsense is retiring link ads? That is big, big news. I removed link ads from my main website many years ago because of their poor user experience, but I still use them on my smaller sites. It’ll be interesting to see how that affects the revenue of those smaller websites.

Good riddance, link units are very misleading. Most users don't understand that clicking those links leads to a list of ads.

Ad links used to be my best performing ads, but then for some unexplained reason they started to peter out and I removed most of them. I'm waiting for the day that Adsense just decides to retire ALL ads without explanation and the end the whole shebang. Diversify!

Ya I pulled Ad Links about a year ago, mainly because of their misleading (and generally ugly) appearance. They were good earners for about 1.5 years and then the bottom mysteriously fell out. Now back to display ads and strategic positioning of said ads.

Chrome is now blocking resources hungry ads including those served via AdSense. I noticed this for the first time today.
