This December was good, but nothing explosive and in the mast week I feel like a drag in revenue.
Traffic is ok, but the payment is lower each day.

I think the new lockdowns in Europe are to blame.

I've noticed a network-wide drop in RPM and revenue going into this last week before xmas too - the seasonal ad spend must be coming to and end. The early part of the month was a lot stronger but I dread what January will look like now.

COVID19 affecting ad spending has made my earning trends go wonky. Never in my 15 years of AdSense that November earnings outpaces December's; we are definitely on pace for that to happen. Seems like budgets that were held off for months were poured into Black Friday/Cyber Monday more-so than any other year (in my case anyway).

Well, today seems to be 50% less than the usual Drcember day.
No more ads or something is again broken.

Every year it is the same story. Adsense revenue always starts to taper off about a week before Christmas and bottoms out around Christmas and the first couple weeks of January. Same story every year.

@gatormark, yep. This December has been my best in years, but it starting to weaken now and I am preparing for the usual gigantic drop on the 26th or 27th. Except maybe advertisers won't pull back like they usually do during first quarter since there is a lot of pent up demand and the vaccine is coming. One can dream!

Normally I would say Christmas has come early, but since today is actually Christmas... Christmas has arrived, 10X earnings today! Wow I'm so excited....

But, the number of clicks are marginally higher than normal but not 10X and not exceptionally high, so this doesn't appear to be a case of click bombing. Oh well I guess will have to wait for Jan 1st to see the final result.

Well, it's after midnight. Now the 26th. I had $0.00 income with many visits on the 25th. I have no idea what's wrong.

...and so, the post-Christmas Adsense blues begin. We will now have 2 to 3 weeks of low revenue.

For me, November was the best month ever. December was promising to beats sweet November's record, but it didn't. Near the half of the month is start dropping and is still do.
Generally this December still best (except November), clearly because I start real earning just this year.

However, yes there are a hard drop of earning (-30%) relatively to an increase of traffics (organic from google) and a normal number of clicks and Impressions.

With numbers:
- CPC was 0.02002121 in November and 0.01121540 in the first half of December.
- CPC Now ~0.0075
All other factors still almost the same.

Although we are in the dead zone, I’m still happy because I’m up 30% over last December. Been doing this for 15 years and this week (Christmas to New Years Day) is typically the worst week of the year for me.

Additionally to my last post, Jubna[dot]com, doing well this week, I have an earning increase of 42%.
I use Jubna and AdSense at the same time.

Considering the vast majority of my revenue comes from Google link units, I have no alternative but to look for an alternative ad system (since they are retiring them).

Is anyone else already replacing Google Adsense with an alternative ad system? If so, which?

Just saw this in an article recently. This is new EthereumAds[dot]com, it works in a similar way to other auction-based ad platforms with the only difference being in the payments section. Service is suitable for any content, not just crypto-related. EthereumAds plans to compete with Google Adsense.

The post-holiday crash has arrived. Started to weaken yesterday and today the bottom fell out. Not quite as bad as I feared but still annoying. So begins the climb to next Christmas.

Can confirm. Rates have dropped.
