We had a really good summer and September was good. October sux so far though! :D

It is new quarter but still the things should have improved by now, a week is gone with horrible CPC.

October is slowing down for us, but that happens every year (and has done since the mid-1990s, before AdSense was around). Things will start to pick up again after the first of the year.

For our topics, at least, a degree of hibernation in Q4 is normal.

@EditorialGuy For us it usually picks up right before Halloween and is good thru the first of the year. But dies off after the first of the year. Only can only wish it was a little bit more stable. But then again we are following advertising spending trends. Guess we have to live with it :D

Adsense is going... dark for me.
The payment is incredibly low in October.

We will have some sales on Haloween and BF, after that, ~ one week before Christmas and that's it!

weird stats too here. It has gone up all of a sudden then down almost 10 mins later.

It does seem slower than it should be for a Monday. However, it is Columbus Day so maybe that's part of the issue.

Columbus Day was on a Monday last year and the year before that and earnings weren't this bad. Low CPC / CTR on my end. Still 1/2 of what it should be or less. Has been this way all month.

In fact this is the worst year i have had with adsense... Traffic is up.. earnings are down.

Getting plenty of clicks, however, the CPC is absolutely rubbish at just 8p.

Has anyone ever experienced lower AdSense revenue as a result of switching your site over to CloudFlare?

Re: Cloudflare and Adsense, I made the switch back in June and nothing's changed with my Adsense earnings. It is lower than the start of the year but thats because of SERP changes and natural ad spending ebbs and flows. It was declining even before I switched.

Cloudflare has done it's part in speeding up pages/content though. Just dont enable Rocketloader.

I have all of my sites running through them now.

Cloudflare has no impact on AdSense, you can always try MaxCDN.

Today's start is also bad, 12 days into October and no improvements yet.

I'm full of Chinese Store Ads, a lot of targeting.
They seem to pay peanuts, as the bidding is set to the minimum!

It seems that Amazon killed the competition!

The same thing has happened this month as it did last month. My finalised balance has been increased by £5. I wonder why this keeps happening? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, in fact, it makes me think that I must be doing everything right if they are actually increasing my money.

Yes today is down. Yesterday was actually great for me - so it’s a surprise that today is so much lower. No apparent holidays anywhere.

About cloudflare - I’ve been with them for close to 2 years - with mod cloudflare on server. No change to Adsense earnings.

BUT...

If your site is easily cache-able - and cloudflare really speeds up you site - the adsense ads could load slower - and your visitors could already have left the page.
