January was a mighty rollercoaster for many, surely February won't continue in the same vein?

It's so frustrating that Google has not stopped double and sometimes triple ad serving of the same exact ad and/or advertiser. They're apparently mastering technology that is sophisticated enough to navigate automobiles at a high rate of speed by computer, but can't write a basic line of code that prevents the same ad on the same webpage. Unbelievable. AdSense is at an all-time low and trending lower by the month.

Only serving one single ad from time to time, but almost completely replaced Adsense with CPA, Amazon, selling own ads .. What I serve with RPM currently at 20-24 is:
very low earnings these days. Only getting around 0.25$ RPM since last 3-4 days and going down more continuously. Is google want to stop us using adsense in this way ? for those who are getting low incomes these days.

Talking about low RPMs, I noticed that in my case whenever there is a low RPM it's almost always when Rich Media/Image vs text impression ratio is higher than normal. The last few days of January and first few days of Feb had consistently lower than normal RPM and that's when I noticed this difference. Removing the Rich Media/Image ads only worked for a few hours until the RPM dropped even further.

flatfile, it probably just means a lack of inventory for CPC text ads so you fall back on lower paying CPM ads, which use images and animations. Lack of advertisers seem to be my problem too, they've gone elsewhere or stopped spending, I've been getting less and less Click impressions in the past year and more and more Views impressions.

I've just had a look at my disaster zone, zero clicks from either the USA and UK, leading the way is Oman with 20 cent values.
Wonderful when I'm already at 65% of my average daily PVs, this is going to be a garbage Thursday!

I think it's because the ads are so ugly. I miss the old style ads. They blended better with the site, were easier to understand and overall just looked better. I've been a publisher since 2003 and CTR definitely took a nosedive a few years ago when they began adding buttons and changing the style of the ads.

So far today my lowest RPM of the year at 20.9% of average plus still no USA and UK clicks, WTF?

I try to stay focused on total monthly revenue and year over year results. But the revenue decline I have seen this week is pretty stunning. It's one of the biggest drops I remember in many years of doing this.

I think that depends on the niche and/or other factors (maybe the ad sizes that you use?). On our site, the highest RPM is from Flash ads, followed by rich-media ads.

I think it's safe to say that the advertisers as so safe, like quadruple band aide protected from whatever is going on. They are so protected that my earning and revenues from clicks is nothing short of a joke. Perhaps this will pass, who knows. Great news for advertisers because 110% they must not be paying for much right now, at least from what people are saying here and from what I see in my account. It's like a triple condom of protection.

Incredulous, my lowest-ever day.
For the USA I only received rpm earnings, for the first-ever time I did not get a single click, PVs were absolutely normal.
Some of the ads I saw yesterday were very off-target for my sites plus on some sites ads weren't even loading at all. The sites would come up fast however they were waiting, waiting, waiting ... Someone has broken something big time and I have a feeling it ain't going to get better any time soon, if at all.

Most countries very low RPM today (again), except for Unknown Region. Bit weird of course.

Not a brilliant day for me yesterday. All of a sudden page views and impressions started soaring and page rpm dropped like a stone to something like 40p. Normally I'm getting an approximate rpm of £2.30 p. Having said that, the very low rpm doesn't always have a negative effect on earnings, but it did yesterday.

I don't know what happened yesterday, but something (bad) happened. One of my lowest days. VERY poor CTR on all my sites, and I tend to think it was due to ads that were totally irrelevant or junk. Something bad definitely happened.

Have USA usage patterns changed, as in the time Jo Public is using the Net?
For a while now I have noticed that USA visitors are arriving much later in the day and overnight for me in the UK.
I used to get US visitors 24 hours a day however these days they seem to disappear between UK time 6-7am through till 1-3pm.
Is anyone else seeing similar?

Weird things have started happening in the last week. According to Google analytics are not getting any more traffic than normal. I wish I had an answer to why this is happening, but I have absolutely no idea. I just don't know from Monday to the next what's going to happen. Today is hardly got off the starting block. Mind you, it's normally later in the day and into the evening when the most of my earnings are made. So I am certainly not too bothered just at the moment.

I don't know what is going on today, one would expect the red card to be in place, things have just basically come to a halt. I think I'm stuck at 58p and something like eight clicks, that is very unusual for me.

Hi there, everybody.
I am new to the Forums here.
Like many others posting in this thread, I am seeing the most dramatic drop in Ad-sense RPM(YouTube), especially for a February which is usually close to my highest Monthly RPM results.
One thing I would like to add.
If any of you have been online working with Ad-sense, do a Monthly Page RPM check for the past say 3 to 5 years, and let me know what you have noticed.
Compare all your monthly results, to see if their are any trends.
For myself, I have noticed a monthly Page RPM drop pretty much for every month of every new year as my YouTube Channels Have Grown (large increase in Monthly page-views)
The only variation on that, was an even bigger % drop in page RPM for this year, which may be a sign of things to come, or, just an anomaly.

Very troubling results for the past two days - low ONE DIGIT earnings on a very large site that is fairly popular.
