January 2015 was not a great month for many.
February it's a short month.
On 2nd of February in US is the NFL Super Bowl and we all know that dreaded 14.02... :(

First day of February had a very low payment for me, the second seems to be worse.

Let's home Springtime is near...

I agree my CPC and RPM are back to normal pre holiday levels. It's good to see but at the same time frustrating because I didn't do anything. I feel totally like a leaf in the wind with adsense sometimes.

After months of everything remaining more-or-less static, February started out bad and then got worse. At this rate we will be 50% of January. Or less. Not sure what happened, I did nothing new or outrageous. My visitors is staying about the same. But the clicks are 1/5th what they were in January. The crash started on Feb. 2nd.

Is there some new program going on?

February is always my all-out worst month. Right now I'm within a couple bucks of last February, but it's certainly nothing earth shattering.

First "normal" type earnings yesterday. I would like to think this is the turnaround from the poor past couple few weeks.

Today RPM is back in the celler. Why should I be surprised.

Today looks like another bounce back. Perspective wise, yesterday was about equal to about 3 days earnings, since the new year downturn.

Actually, today for me is one of the best Sundays I've had in last 4 weeks. RPM, CPC and CTR are back to my daily normals plus high traffic. At 11am GMT I have already made more than I made on Saturday and now it is 19.00 I am already double and almost half of what I have had yesterday.
I just hope this can stay that way.
Actually February is much better for me than January was, even after I made changes as Google suggested and then switched back to my original placements, I am over January so far by 27% and I have to say that 1st of January was actually very strong day for me in earnings.

Total reversal today.
RPM, CPC and CTR are higher than normal and traffic is about the same.
Go figure.

Interestingly, I was comparing this February to last February, and I see that a year ago today was the first time I had a ginormous click bomb by bots that wasn't removed til end of month, skewing my stats forever more. Fortunately by March it had mostly abated.

This has been a stronger day for me too. This reminds me a bit of Kafka :)

Has anyone noticed an increase in adserving adware/malware browser extensions? I'm seeing it a lot on clients', friends', relatives' computers. Perhaps lowering the click-thru of adsense ads. Also might cause people to install adblockers. Maybe more prevalent in different demographics eg younger, older, less tech savy?

Dear Google,

Please do not take away what I have made already today.

With that being said, though, I'm prepared to be heartbroken.

For the past week CPC became much better than in the January. Almost like it always was. However the number of clicks sharply fell! So earnings stayed low. On 8.February the number of clicks went up 3 times but of course, no surprise, the CPC took a dive and is low just like everyone else here is seeing for the past month. It is not GEO problem because most of visitors are from USA all the time.

The only thing I can think of is that the google is showing crappy irrelevant ads for some obscure keywords or something that makes clicks much cheaper. This or they are simply cheating us. I simply don't believe that it is coincidence that the moment you get more clicks somehow not one of them is of higher value.

This thread also asks similar question:

Above average Clicks and CTR Sunday for me with a below average EPC which is a pity otherwise it could have been my best day of the year so far.

CTR has dropped from 1.90 in the beginning of January to .65 as of today. I have made no changes to ad placement or changed any of the colors, etc. People are simply no longer clicking on the ads.

One of my normally poorer units is super hot today with 3x CPC. Very odd.

Very high CPM/CPC, but low impressions, so I suspect delay.

Can't log in. Then kicked out. Then red bar. Analytics stuck since this morning. Kind of a mess.

I have a red bar. I imagine soon it will disappear and stats will remain unchanged.

I agree that there isn't much point in the red bar, except to tell me that numbers for the day will remain about 20% lower than normal. When the bar leaves, the numbers do not increase.

and stats will remain unchanged.

And surely they did...2015 with AdSense has already set new record lows for me and yesterday provided yet another.

For the first time ever, in 11 years, my main company .com did not get a single click despite many page views, yeah Google, whatever you say!

I started the day at 7 cents earnings. Skyrocketed to 8 cents a few hours later. Then Google clawed-back the penny so now I am back to 7 cents, lol. Really Google? You took my penny away? A successful publisher for 12 years and you took away my penny?

I know that a lot of people are annoyed by pages full of ads for something they just bought at Amazon. Apparently Amazon (and others) can't figure out the difference between searching for a product and buying a product. Why pay for ads that offer a product the user has already bought?

Yet another day in the pan wth a diabolical CTR and EPC and my main company .com has still not had a click, unbelievable.

My CPM and CPC are looking incredible good, but as usual, ad views are getting lower, so the total will be the usual, nothing big.

What a dump this morning. An Adsense financial dump that is.
