Thank you, although I was a little late this month. It happened about 2 hours prior to my post.

Lame, good enough! I checked about 1:15 pm ET, a little more than two hours ago, and it wasn't showing. Missed it by a hair.

While I may never be a PIP thread starter, I did coin the phrase, PiP, PiP, Hooray! back in 2008 or so.

I look after two accounts, the strange thing is, Account A normally shows PIP first, but today it was Account B.

Who cares about PIP, has anyone actually got it?

I care about PIP very much. For the last six years or so every time PIP has been declared MIB has followed a few days later - never failed, not even once!

Heck...one time PIP and MIB overlapped.
I got the PIP notice and the notice of MIB right behind each other.

I think last month I got MIB then the next day PIP appeared.

I have Payment issued, not PIP, but my bank [Commo's] doesn't process international transactions over week-ends so it will be MIB tomorrow [Monday].

I bet if I was the XYZ-Mega-Conglomerate-Corporation it would have been processed in microseconds. Not for the "little people".

It's very logical to me. PIP is simply a head's up that the payment has been processed and will arrive shortly in my bank account. PIP is always reassuring to me as I know I'm getting paid. Other ad networks I use have no system so I'm always left wondering when exactly I'll get paid.

Well I am on a couple that tell me and the money is in the bank within a few hours.

The problem with "cheque in the post" is that history teaches us that it may well not be in the post and if it is, there is a fair chance it may bounce.

With G, PIP (for me over the last six years) has always been quickly followed by MIB and the "cheque" never bounces. A huge difference.

Give G their due where it is warranted, PIP means MIB in a day or so ---- ALWAYS. Cheque in the post means nothing.

Nobody in this business pays as reliably as Google. Payment always comes on time, and as nomis5 says, it never bounces. Considering all the programs out there that are not reliable when it comes to payment, I think we should all appreciate PIP because it means actual money is not far behind.

I disagree. There hasn't been a postman for days due to the holiday, so you wouldn't have received the cheque. Plus, you'll still have to trek to the bank, bank it, wait for days for it to clear.

If the banks were/are open today (i've not checked) then there is a possibility that they may pay out tonight... that's what I am hoping for.

Me too ... 6 days later and still nothing.

When I have transfers from India notified it usually takes under 0.01 seconds and it's been that way for years!
