Got a postie today. maybe my analogy about cheque in the post is misleading. Get it sent straight to bank but my original observation, perhaps lost in the midst of the various posts is that I really don't care about PIP (as so many here still seem to do). Still think PIP is simply, "Oh I was online and feel like a bit of gloating" . What I care about is the money in the bank. Now PIP was declared, what 6 days ago (?) thats great. But here we are today, 6(?) days later and the money isn't in the bank. So, why do so many people care about PIP? It isn't a sign for me that 2 days (or however many) later the money will actually be spendable by me. Google has a random payment schedule even after PIP.

I can tell exactly when my valueclick money is going to be IN THE BANK. 20th - regular as clockwork, last three years. Google-no idea.

Years ago, I used to work for a bank. If fact, a couple of them at different times. Lets say that bank is called "The Bank of LW."

As luck would have it, my own bank account was also "The Bank of LW"
If payday was on the 25th, then the money was always a day before. It showed up on the ATM, but not if you enquired with the bank teller.

If you were not with "The Bank of LW." then your money would not show up on the ATM the day before.

If the 25th was on say, Sunday, then the money would show up on Thurdsay (for me) and Friday for staff who didn't use the same bank.

In reality, the money is in the bank but won't show up. It's a sneaky way for banks to make more money.

blairsp, you have to admit, it is an exceptional time of year. With holidays so close together etc. It is a problem with the banks, not Google. The banks have the money, they are not releasing it for whatever reason.

Give G their due where it is warranted, PIP means MIB in a day or so ---- ALWAYS.

Mine too - always shows up as "pending" in my account within 24 hours. The only delay I ever see is that when I moved all my accounts over to the UMich Credit Union this year, they seem to take two extra days to process all incoming payments (whether from Google, Amazon, or whoever) Mildly annoying, but not a deal breaker. Still beats dealing with a bank.

Ditto in OZ. Folks who have their weekly pay banked into a Credit Union or Building Society inevitably see it at least one day later.

The federal treasurer, while allegedly a supporter of the credit union movement, won't do anything about it [upset the big four banks] and won't assign a reason for doing nothing.

I was right. The money is in the ATM. :)

Until the EMD penalty update earlier this year, I had been constantly checking my AdSense every few hours for several years. Since the update, I've gone cold turkey and not logged in at all since early October - pleased that payments are still being made even with zero activity from me.

No sign of the check yet...
And the shipper reference is not returning anything.
