PIP = Payment In Progress
I had to read the thread twice and there are no references to what PIP means. For some of us, we are clueless, I being one of them. Here I am trying to figure out what the hell a PIP is and finally had to do a Google search only to find the previous WebmasterWorld topics where someone was kind enough to spell it out for us AdSense Wantabes!
Is anyone starving, late on their bills, have to file BK, because they don't have a PIP?

My main concern with Google pushing PIP dates for my account one week later than in the past is that I can't tell whether the money gets into my account before, on or after the first of the month. If I knew that it would arrive before the first I could buy things to write off as expense. If I knew that G money wouldn't arrive before the first, I'd not buy such things. Should it still arrive, I'd have to pay the tax after the income.

Would be nice if we got paid when the majority of US publishers did, back around the early parts of December 22nd, when people started noticing money in their bank account in the US.
Can't complain though! As long as we get it before the 10th of each month, as this is when my mortgage repayments come out which rely on Adsense payments.. I'm happy.
I'm sure they process alot of payments and for some reason they look after their US publishers first -- usually there's only a 2 day turn around I have noticed from when people first say they have PIP in a thread here until we get it in Australia, but for some reason this month there was about a 7 day gap.
The money gnomes actually gave up New Years Eve to process my payment?
