I have better things to do than to play doctor, and speculate on why adsense is down, since there's nothing I can do about it. For people who are compulsive about checking their stats every hour, I guess it's disturbing, but I don't need more from google about these outages.

On the other hand, ADWORDS accounts are different, since I DO need to know whether that will be down for any period of time, since I might want to adjust campaigns, and if there's going to be down time, knowing that allows me to do that beforehand.

The interesting thing is why has there been no ex-Google employee who has broken ranks and divulged what is occurring?

I've pondered that question a number of times... must be one helluva Confidentiality Agreement they must sign on entry.

In some ways this forum, and others like it are sort of barometers of what's happening with Adsense.

If there were anything really seriously wrong with the Adsense system you couldn't refresh these pages fast enough to keep up with the comments and complaints pouring in from an ever growing number of publishers from all geographic areas.

We aren't seeing that now.

Some publishers have seen some dips in income this week, others have seen things remain normal, others have seen increases.

In other words, Adsense life seems to go on a usual.

I wonder how many extra posts there will be on Monday?

Weekends are traditionally quieter here on WebmasterWorld, I wonder how many will look at their earnings and say "Oh dear, just another strange AdSense weekend?"...hehehe...it wouldn't allow me my expletive acronym:-))
