100 clicks a day and making peanuts

Right now I'm getting between 90 and 130 clicks a day from one of my blogs. Very random stuff and nothing is all that popular. I have decent traffic (2000 uniques/day and 5000 page views) and I'm running adsense getting about 100 clicks a day for the last few months. My problem is that I'll make about $50/day some days and other days only $20.

I wonder if switching to YPN would make a difference?

Also I have articles that serve ads that are paying $4+ per click but I dont seem to get those type of ads. I get the one's for 40 cents. Is adsense usng PR to see who deserves the higher paying ads or is there something else?

i like the numbers that you posted... but since it sounds like you are in a decent niche, why not try ypn on a couple of pages? test the waters first.

i just finished switching all my contextual ads over to ypn exclusively, we'll see how it pans out.

patience my young padawan for others are making less than pennies a day, or nothing at all. But congrats, your doing well for a blogger that has just random stuff.. :)

2.000 uniques, 5.000 pageviews, I guess google will count about 4.000 impressions and "only" $20.

That's an eCPM of $5, if I am correct.

I am between $1.20 and $1.70, if that makes you happier ..
