I agree with greedy! I think you are doing well, especially for a blog. You're making about the same as I am on a long-standing niche content site, with a similar number of visitors.

You are doing very well. I get around that many clicks per day and only get around $10/day. I was getting around $30/day but in mid-June my cpc got slaughtered :(

over here in sunny Malaysia, USD50 a day translates to RM6K. More than enough for a whole family to enjoy the good things in life!

I make 0.01/click and I happy that I'm accepted in AdSense network.

If you are averaging 100 clicks per day and receiving $50.00 you are averaging 50 cents per click.

Even if you are only receiving $20.00 you are still averaging 20 cents per click.

There are a ton of publishers running Adsense who would be absolutely thrilled to match your results.

If I did 35c/click this post would be written not by me but by my second assistant (or by the junior assistant of the second assistant).

i wouldn't comlain at all if I had those figures, then again, I am still to optimise the non forum section for the full 100%.

btw, I have a ctr of close to 100% at a section where people can check for links on related companies... they seem to follow every damn link on there :))

If you ask them to follow links, you are asking for trouble with adSense. CTR of 100% is definitely a 'red flag'...

there is nothing saying "follow this or that". I guess people expect direct links there although I provide text as well.

I think you are really doing fine. That's a great performance.

Maybe you can improve your performance a bit by using adsense channels. Use them to find out which topics pay best.

Provide more, deeper information about those topics.

and the webmaster complaining about earning peanuts, i can't believe it. i tell you what: 0.25 $ seems to be the absolute max unsmartpriced amount that i'm able to earn per click on extremely lucky rare days - not with a blog but with a niche site. so shut up.

I am new here and I just want to express my observation.The Original Poster really have a great problem. It's not what he's making but it's his 2000 unique visitors a day. 6.5% of your visitors click ads.

Probably your visitors are not interested enough to your pages that they are not clicking that much!

5,000 uniques, 20,000 page views per day (totally original content 50 pages)

I get a thousand $.25 clicks perday and in Sept that will double.

Stop your greed on the small end it is totally a numbers game, more traffic, more fraffic, more traffic!

posts like this really make me sick. Ive observed these forums for quite a while on and off and i still dream of making $25-$50 a day.
I run a very popular nintendo DS website, with some 3000 uniques per day and 40-50k page views a day....we make somewhere in the region of $12-14 a day off clicks, so that really is some great performance you have there.

The only way we manage to boost our income (and only by about $4 a day) is through googles downloadable software such as FF and picassa.

Still looking for that optimum ballance of traffic and content...content drives traffic....traffic drives me to make better content...round and round we go :-p

What is their disposible income?

What is the average spend on a product for an advertiser on your site?

Combine those 3 factors and that gives you the answer.

Web advertising is no different than traditional in these respects.

Like my momma always sez, "Forrest, if you want to catch nice fish you need nice bait".

I bring in business decision makers, college professors and scientists all income $50,000 and up.

Products/Services in ads runs from $50 to $500 with more on the upper side.
