Wow, maybe it's just me but does anyone else find this discomforting?

Effective October 15, 2008, the minimum amount for credit card-funded Product Submit accounts will increase from $25.00 to $250.00. This means that you must make a minimum payment of $250.00 whenever you add funds to your account.

Yeah, this stumped me too. The only reason I could come up with is they didn't want to pay the transactional fee for processing each payment. I find it hard to believe that they are going to save more money than they will lose from all the small advertisers that decide to walk away rather than pony up $250 a whack.

If Yahoo thinks I am going to pay $250 each time we need to renew our account, forget it. They're going to lose people this way. I thought the idea was to gain advertisers, not alientate them.
