Yahoo places my ads on HotJobs. They run them overnight and my budget is depleted by 8am every morning. If I didn't know better, I would swear that Yahoo is clicking on the ads themselves. Who's clicking on these ads at 3 and 4 o'clock in the morning? How do you stop them from running at these times. It's easy to do in Adwords, but how do you do ad scheduling in Yahoo?

By the way, I just realized that I wasn't clear on the above post. I run ads on Yahoo Sponsored Search. One of the sites that my ads get placed on is HotJobs.

Anyway, I contacted Yahoo Help and was told that they do not have "day parting" as they call it.

Have you tried blocking hotjobs.yahoo.com in your blocked domain panel? Would be curious to see if that actually worked since it's part of Yahoo! itself. Might be worth giving a shot if you haven't tried it though.

Well, I could try that, but to be honest HotJobs is a great fit for my ads. In fact, when Yahoo started showing my ads on HotJobs, I was very happy. It's just that I don't believe the clicks I get at 2, 3, and 4 o'clock in the morning are legit. It happens every night and they NEVER convert. And I don't believe the clicks are coming from overseas because they're showing up on job pages related to American cities.

In contrast, my Adwords ads on sites similar to HotJobs never get clicked in the middle of the night.

you can not block any Yahoo sub domains from your panama traffic. Even if you add it to your exclusion list, they will not get excluded.

You need to use Yahoo API to turn things on and off in Yahoo...
