Waiting over a month for a gold account restructure

God save us from YSM customer service

After Panama completely destroyed the organization of my YSM account, I shifted 75-80% of my total ppc budget to AdWords. I did this also because the quality of Yahoo's traffic continued to plummet.

Over a month ago, I contacted Yahoo for advice about how best to rescue this Gold account, which has 1 keyword per adgroup thanks to Panama, and is completely unmanageable.

I was told that if I would give them a week or two, they would prepare a restructuring plan in the form of a bulk upload spreadsheet for me. Over a month later, still nothing. Have called multiple times for updates only to get fed lines about how "we're really busy with the holiday season and all" and new deadlines (which are of course then missed).

What is the matter with these people? Am I just the lucky fella who can't GIVE AWAY my money, or do they really have the worst customer service of any company in the industry? Every single encounter I've had with them for the past two years has been nothing short of torture.

You should just download the template and fill it in yourself. Thats what I did last year before Panama was even released so that as soon as Panama went live, I could upload it.

Or, even easier is to Import your campaigns from Google. Just go to the 'Campaigns' tab -> click on 'Import' in the sub-nav -> click 'Convert Third Party Campaigns' and follow the directions from there. It took me a little time to mess around with it before I got it to work exactly as I wanted, but it definitely saves me a lot of time everytime I want to add a campaign to my account.

Well thanks to the efforts and attention of YahooPete, all is on its way to being fixed now.
