I used to do a lot of advertising on Overture (YSM) and actually found ROI higher than AdWords. For one reason or another I stopped the campaigns. Now I wish to re-start with YSM.
I've been using Google Analytics to track the success of my AdWords campaigns and it has been extremely useful. It is automatic and it works wonderfully well.
I have tried to figure out how I can use GA to track the success of YSM campaigns. In GA they tell you how to tracks other PPC campaigns, such as YSM - such as adding tracking URLs. But they don't give much away with regards to where this information will appear in GA.
Can anyone shed some light on where the info appears in GA and how easy it is to view compared with AdWords data.
Thanks.
Hope that helps! :-)
I will probably look to implement at least one campaign in YSM in the next week or so - as I said earlier, it always did prove a good ROI. It's a shame that costs won't be shown but since it is Google software I'm surprised they even allow you to track a competitors campaign anyway.
Thanks.
