Which makes sense because the landing pages are unique to these yahoo search ads.
I didn't realize yahoo had an ads bot yet.
It seems weird (and not ideal) that they are using a generic user-agent for this bot.
Has anyone seen this ads bot? Are they doing "quality score" with it too?
What makes you think it's a bot as opposed to a human check? Did the IP requests linked files or just the HTML of your landing pages?
Certainly the UA is very bot-like, but it might be for some other internal reason than straight crawling.
