Yahoo has turned off all of my campaigns with no warning other than an email the night before. The reason they gave was that there was not enough relevant content on my page.. I am seeing all of competitors advertising with less content on their pages. Rediculous! Anyone else get turned off by Yahoo?

Sounds like enough warning to me... what more did you expect them to do?

Why not just 'fix' the problems stated, and contact them to let them know you've complied?

an email the night before is enough warning. On a friday? I'm talking about 100k keywords, 30+ landing pages and many millions in spend.

And they never told me what was wrong. Just that the content wasn't relevant. Without getting too into it I am buying keyword X and offering X on the page. All of my competitors are up running almost identical pages. I dont know how long you've worked for Yahoo but this is not ok.

If you've spent millions as stated, surely you have a rep you can call. I don't work for Yahoo, or advertise with them, but I can't imagine that if you where truly spending millions of dollars with them that you wouldn't have a personal contact.

Try calling/emailing them.

I did. It was a decision made by one of the senior editors and there's nothing that can be done until Monday. Believe me, I'm all over it......Just wondering if anyone else had the same thing happen today or if I was the only one.

Spending millions with Yahoo does not get you any special treatment. You get the same frustrations as if you spent $100. The Yahoo editorial process is atrocious and even worse is the lack of compassion for their own advertisers.

Yahoo will continue to fail miserably as long as they keep the editorial process. They are a bunch of idiots.

I have perfectly good keywords removed all the time for "insufficient content", even ones that point to a blog that I write on the keyword subject.

Thank goodness that Google wants my money. That's why their stock rocks and Yahoo's never will.
