I have just looked at the new account setup and the whole bidding thing seems screwed up. When I go look at the top bids section per keyword it may give me in the range of 50 cents to a dollar depending on the keyword. However, when you want to set the global bid for the adgroup it gives some crazy chart that says like if your max bid is 25 dollars you'll get 70% of the clicks at an average price of like 70 cents. Why would I have to bid so high in order to get an average cpc of 70 cents. When I set it to 50 cents or a dollar like my individual keyword bids then it says i will get 3% of the clicks and have a cpc of 10 cents. And my ads have no been showing for a little bit since I activated this, so I was wondering is there a delay for your ads to go live or could it be that I am inadvertantly bidding too low because of this strange bidding system set up. I am afraid to bid 25 dollars at the moment as I think I will get charged WAAAY more than the 70 cents average cpc they claim.
