How to add ad cost to Tracking URL?

Is it possible to add this information (automatically) to the tracking url?

Hi,

I have ads on Yahoo PPC, which having tracking info set up to show which ad the visitor has come from. I've created specific url's for each ad as part of setting up each ad, of the type:

url.html?source=Overture&kw=financial+accounting+software

We have a new piece of analytics software which suggests that cost information can be added to the url when setting up the ad on Yahoo PPC. I've searched the help for Yahoo PPC, and the control interface, but cannot see any way to 'turn on' such a feature. Obviously this would only make sense if it could be updated automatically for the ad, rather than putting that into the url myself, and then having to keep altering the url's as the cost changes.

Does anyone know how to set this up on Yahoo PPC?

many thanks in advance,

in an auction system, knowing the cost beforehand is hard. bid price you could manaully insert, but i think cost beforehand is a toughie.

They're probably looking for something dynamic, along the lines of Googles
{Keyword}
variable. I don't know of anything like that in Yahoo's current system, but maybe the rollout of the new YSM will provide something.

LOL.

To my knowledge nothing like this exists yet, but you could attempt to do it manually. The downside is that when you change your bids, you would need to adjust your URLs to match...which would trigger the editorial process... not an ideal situation.
