hey there everybody,

i am new to PPC and i have a very basic question,
if you're an affiliate and want to promote your affiliate link through PPC ads in Yahoo, should you have your Own Page or you can just promote your given Link?

I know that one can promote any given link on Adwords, but i'm not sure about Yahoo, especially after changing from Overture to YSM

Please enlighten me on this subject.

On Yahoo today, you can't do direct-to-merchant ppc like you can at G and M. Gotta make your own page.

My opinion is that they don't understand ppc agencies or affiliate marketing - and it's cost them dearly. But for their reason why, you'd have to ask them.
