well i got a link from a sponsor i joined to join YSM and get $100 Credit ..

i was told even if i have an account , i should create another one only to advertise that sponsor.. and its ok.. i will get the $100 credit.

now i am not sure if this is true.. this was all told by the sponsor Rep.

but i am not into loosing all my Overture account for this guy.. so i

am asking anyone ever created another account in YMS even thought they have one to take advantage of the Promotion Credit from a sponsor ..

Plus i know their is an Overture Rep here if they can also say something , it will be appreciated

If you think it's dodgy then you are probably best not doing it.

Promotional credits for PPC networks are often aimed at encouraging NEW advertisers to get onboard, get them started at no cost (apart from a $5 activation fee possibly) and hopefully keep them.

As for the people that give out these credits, often they have a reason to get you signed up.

Probably the best resource from one of the major PPC networks is Google's rules for MCC holders (who can give out credits to clients they sign up), although Yahoo will be different in their approach I'd say that the Google rules are good to look at to see if you could realistically defend your actions.

Here's the link:
