Started an account with Overture and if anyone could please help me with these two points it would be greatly appreciated. My initial kW submition was rejected as the keyword was deemed not specificly adult while the url was adult. That took 5 days to get a reponse. Tuesday to today Sunday. I'd like to make the next submition work or I won't get any listings up before labor day at this rate. : )

1) Are affiliate direct to merchant links allowed?

Specificly in the adult area. I read in the help stuff that the word affiliate must be in the add for affiliates. But, I see no one listed with affiliate in their adds and some are sending direct to the merchant. I also read where you must own the page you are sending to. So I do not think direct to merchant links are allowed but, I would like to get off on the right foot.

I spent about 3 hours today searching your forum and their help and it sounds like they were not allowed a year back but that they may be allowed now days after the new system was introduced in May.

2) If you must use a landing page on a domain you own to link to, will they allow a simple link and text or must it be a quality landing page with lots of images ect?

This is just a simple gateway page to the adult site. Id prefer to keep it simple.

Any direction greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) Yes. Sometimes they randomly reject kws with the 'site owner' excuse (especially big search volume words) but I've been able to get them accepted by calling up.

2)I would imagine simple is fine. They don't have a QS yet as far as I know.
