Yes, I am seeing it. Some major re-indexing of a couple of my sites in last 24 hours. (30 place movements in one case)

Back to #1 for my main phrase after slipping to 2nd page last December. I think it was an "over optimization" penalty. Today, back at number 1, at least for now. The rest of serps are much better, they have been garbage. Hope it stays this way!

well my homepage made it finally out of penalty. I suspect over op penalty to #17. The other pages are still the same.

I still don't see much of an improvement on crawling or indexing abilities, from which everything else depends. For a large portion of the searches I just performed in a variety of commercial and non-commercial phrases even the wrong URL for a domain is chosen...

To the engineers working on the crawler, please consider how redirects should be handled; 302 and 301 are very different -- figure it out and it'll remove about a third of your doorway pages.

Amen. Shee. But, quite frankly, we don't get THAT much traffic from Y even where we are #1.

Agree. They are so far behind now and lost is sad. Those results are despicable. They have officially lost. Why don't they just go back and let Google provide their results and focus on something they can actually do right?

An e-commerce website that I have much control over has been receiving more Yahoo traffic over the past few days. Could this be a sign of more to come?

It looks like one of my sites has dropped out of their index totally. All original content that holds #1 spots on MSN, Google, etc.

Yahoo! kills me sometimes. I wonder what about the site upset them so much?

This is fantastic update for our e-commerce store, we started to rank for a lot of products that we sold out a month or two ago to visitors from Google and MSN.

Woohoo still banned! Nice to see advertisers bidding on my name though, at least someone is getting the traffic. *rolls eyes*

And it wouldn't hurt to turn the Xanga knob down a notch or two either.

Why is it that every time Yahoo "improves" its search index, it only gets worse. I really hope that these obstinate heads simply go back to Google, renew their old agreement, and see the money start rolling in without doing a thing.

Previously we were #1 for our top mtarget 2 word term. What was listed was the same as is in the Y Directory. Now on yahoo.com we are at #20 with our description meta tag as the first line of the listing and the second line is the same as the second line from the Y Directory.

On yahoo.co.uk we have dropped to #6 but the whole listing is still the same as the directory.

I suspect that they are playing around with how they incorporate directory results into Web results.

The whole thing looks a mess to me. I wish they would stop experimenting with live data.
