Time for an update. Now we will see how the chips fall.
I have seen negative drops on at least one site but don't have a reason for it yet.
Yahoo would have a considerably better engine if they just gave a total death sentence to those two domains.

I have 2 links from Y First Page resuls almost in every keyword combination in my niche. too bad thouse widgets have been out of stock for atleast 12 month and there for there are no links to them from within the site. The only links that are pointing to thouse pages are from MFAs that use Yahoo scraped content.
I don't mind at all. My main site holds strong, for the past god knows how long.
The above statement doesn't mean you can't have top positions in both. However, if you become <b>too greedy</b> in getting top positions in Google, you might spoil your exposure in Yahoo.
It seems that following Brett's advice at [webmasterworld.com...] helps to obtain good positions in Google, Yahoo and even MSN.
