I noticed an increase in clicks on a "normal impression Friday"( just checked stats today.) It's not so much that I would assume sabotage, but wondered if others experienced anything different such as better targeting. Yesterday, the one day I was working on another project, I didn't check to see what type of ads were being displayed.
This morning I am seeing new advertisers mixed with the old. They are more on target for the pages and just wondered if this was a fluke or if something is changing across the board. Before, it would be only 1 on target and depending on the ad, the rest would be "kind of" close but not really on.
I should mention cost per click seems to be in our normal range for a Friday.
Just wanted to compare notes...anyone else seeing this?
You did bring up a thought though, without giving actual numbers, anyone can just say "I had a 100% increase in clicks" when their normal click through rate is usually only 50 clicks/day. As opposed to someone saying they ONLY had a 50% increase in clicks, when their average is over 1,000 clicks/day.
Makes sense that it would be difficult to get input on this matter because we be comparing apples to apples, when it could be apples to oranges.
