From what I gather it's basically a twitter search engine working at near real-time. Interesting. When the techies that be work with this can we expect certain key phrases like "make money online" being overly used just because of a high number of people have sideline set to "listen to" that phrase?

I like the idea but I'm not so sure it won't be used to improve spam more than anything, will wait and see. I may be pessimistic for now but I really never cared to know instantly what a stranger just did 3 minutes ago either.

Seems a little strange, I already use TweetDeck to conduct these sorts of searches, and you can view peoples profiles and follow them from within the app as opposed to being directed to the website everytime. Other than the ability to combine multiple searches under one search group I'm not quite sure what the benefit of using Sidekick is.

I have been using it for a while now and I can get on with it, but, it's been difficult to stick with it over tweetdeck.
