Many webmasters running Google Custom Search are finding that the code was changed and now it's causing "#gsc.tab=0" to be appended to the end of all URL strings.

I've experimented with changing the doctype and different versions of the CSE code. Someone started a thread on Google's own product support forum but after eleven hours nobody from Google is providing feedback.
