It seems that the profiles of 267 million Facebook users, primarily from the U.S., were being offered on the dark web for less than $700. It's believed that the data includes a user's full name, their phone number, and a unique Facebook ID. It's believed the data came from an API before it was shut down.

Sadly, this only adds data to help a bad actor build a profile of the target, which could be you?

I read yesterday (WaPo paywall, sorry) that 25,000 account files that include username, login credentials for (US) NIH, WHO and Gates Foundation were shared on the dark web. :( This was not recent data though and was freely available, not for sale. The article said it was over 6 months old, and people who had looked into it were surprised at the number of "password" passwords that had been used.
