Intel Says, Stop Deploying Current Spectre Patch

Intel has taken a an unusual step in telling users to stop deploying a buggy patch for Spectre, as the patch is causing reboot problems.
Now it's been identified, Intel casme out with this advice, and is now testing a new solution.
