Google Updates its Privacy Policy In Advance of E.U.'s GDPR

Google has updated its privacy policy in advance of the E.U.'s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) saying it'll be easier to understand the policy.
Although we’re taking these steps to make our Privacy Policy easier to understand, it’s important to note that nothing is changing about your current settings or how your information is processed.
So we might wonder why Google didn't make it easier to understand "before", and why they made it easier to understand only for EU people, and keep it "not easy to understand" for the remain of the World :)
