down time was my fault. Expired cc on registrar. I get so much spam from them I missed the email saying billing was failing. All better. Thanks for noticing.

Ya, dns can be funky for some people. just depends on who updates when/where and then throw in some local caching and one page loads and then next doesn't.

Can't imagine why anyone would keep their domains with GoDaddy. Overpaying for domains and get spammed? Sounds like a bad deal.

In the Domain Names forum we preach that it's wise to make sure that important domains are kept registered well in advance.
This is a living example of why ... glad the recovery was quick! :)

Ya, I usually do 10yrs on the platinum grade domains that I know I'm going to keep. (secretly I think it is a Google ranking criteria, but I won't argue about it)
