Been quite awhile since I last posted in my tipsy topsy world for a now 80 year old.
You need/want a plain old vanilla 1Tb HDD for your PC. On offer you will find on eBayPlus you can get a new/unused/unopened Seagate Iron Wolf [manuf Nov 2021] HDD from several known reputable sellers for a low $A75.00 BUT eBayplus offers a further discount of 22% down to $A58.50
This is destined to be a boot drive. Iron Wolf as I understand were intended as NAS Drives.
Do you buy and use the Iron Wolf for your boot drive, or buy more expensive Seagate, WDC drives instead? At present i'm keeping first purchase as an hourly backup drive.
I am once again building a whole new desktop, some stuff new, others CPU RAM recycled.
TIA - This meanwhile is all typed on my old Lenovo Laptop
Edit - typo
