A little off topic, but it should appeal to hardware junkies.
I've been using some Google cloud computing services and can see they have an insanely fast network, people probably know that without tring such services out, but Google have lifted the lid on their datacentre networks.

They are also pushing into the corporate market in a big way, I think their cloud platform will be a huge revenue source for them given time - they have services that are not possible without enormous investment, plus you don't have to support stuff yourself. Big companies seem to be coming around to the idea of trusting Google with their data in order to crunch the ever-expanding amount of said data.
