Hi,

Has anyone had experience running Parallels on a Mac?

I wanted to know if running Internet Explorer on a Mac using Parallels gives you the usual PC buggy crashes, freezes and lockups?

We desperately want to ditch our PC workstation for a Mac but still need to use IE.

When you run IE in Windows on Mac withing Parallels (or BootCamp or VMWare), you are still using IE in Windows so if there are problems you experience regularly and you mount the same versions of Windows and IE that give you problems, it will perform the same way.

I have read that there is a version of IE for Mac, but I don't have any current or direct info that might help. When I used Windows and wanted to view a site or check css in IE I would use an extension on FireFox that is called "View in IE" to keep from using the actual program. I will see if I can find old notes that might help.

You mean a new one!? News to me. If your system can run Rosetta, you can run MSIE 5.2.3, but that takes us w-a-y back ;) (To 2001, to be exact. I checked.)
