Hey, Just wondering if anybody has any experience with load balancers.

What is the main difference between the hardware Vs Virtual load balancers, I have been looking at Kemp Technologies load balancers (virtual and hardware)but they seem to be the same bar set up.

it looks like hardware will be on your premise, and the Virtual is to be used in the Azure cloud.

do you have the networking infra to run your own?

Both Hardware Load Balancer work the same way but Hardware load balancer offers more flexible configurable options compared to a software Load Balancer. It generally depends upon the requirement and budget of clients. There are many Hardware Load balancers available in the market like Baracudda while HA Proxy is a popular software based load balancer.
