We just sent a new server to our co-lo company (we're in the U.S., co-lo in Canada). We're trying to figure out what to do with the old one. Originally, we had planned to ship it back and maybe put it to use here (although I already have a few extra boxes lying around).

But looking at shipping expenses these days, it just doesn't make any sense to do that. So we're probably just going to let the co-lo company dispose of it after they wipe the drives.

It's certainly not cutting edge- 5-year old Compaq tower, 1.256G RAM, 18G + 27G SCSI hard drives, tape backup & tapes. But it works.
