I would like to scann some hand painted illustrations, and documents
I dont think that I will need the scanner for high quailiy photograph scanning.
the budget is up to 250$ but the cheaper the better
I saw some Canon models:
canon lide 90 - 79$
canon lide 600f - 129$
canon canoscan 4400f - 85$
which one will do the work ?
best regards

All modern scanners should be good enough for web use - what's best for you will depend on price, speed and features. Since, features are mostly implemented in software - that's something you should look at. If you want to scan slides, you'll need a transparency adapter (included with some scanners).

a friend of mine gave me suggestion that I should buy Canon CanoScan8800F but I think this scanner is more for prints and the price is higher than those I have listed
I will probably buy a Canon Lide200, it seems it is improved Lide90 with little bit better resoltion and people say that is enough fast, and the price is ok (about 90$)
one more time
thanks a lot :=)))
