Hi there,
I have a AMD ATHLON XP BARTON 2600
(on ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe ACPI BIOS Rev 1009)
that is performing at 1.14GHz and is running real slow. I gotta get it up to at least 1.9GHz (solidly and without melting anything).
There are some details that might be of help to see how to solve this.
I got this from CPU Z :

Core Speed: 1137.0 MHz
Multiplier: x 11.5
Bus Speed : 98.9 MHz
Rated FSB: 197.7 MHz

The BIOS is a version from 2004, so not the newest. I dont know if thats a problem or doesnīt matter. I donīt really know how to upgrade the BIOS either.
